Yes, I think that was the one where my parents were without power for a week or so. I didn't see the devastation.

If I recall there was a big ice storm in that area in 1998. We took our son up to SUNY Plattsburgh for a tour of the campus a few weeks after power was restored. The devastation as we drove up the Northway was beyond imagination. Trees were just snapped like match sticks. Ice comes with many dangers. I hope it melts for you soon, Don.

Yes, the trees survive. We get these periodically - none last year, but two the year before. A few limbs come down, but generally they're OK.
