Nice photo, cm. Looks cold but beautiful. Still waiting for pg to verify the old saying. Maybe morris is right.

chickiemama

Aha.

morris186

I don't know if it is what pg was thinking! I knew someone years ago who used tu say knee high tu a tall Indian!

chickiemama

Thank you Laura, shirley and Micky.

So...... you know the saying morris?

morris186

I always thought that it was knee high, not butt high pg.

jacquescamus

good looking puzzle Leontine

shirley68

Wow! that's a lot of snow, is snow heavy?

laurajane

Amazing shot of northern IL snow!
Tell us the saying, PG!

chickiemama

Ha! I don't live there anymore.

bradjan

Chickie... just think a handsome man will come along and help shovel this for you.

chickiemama

Thank you Hanne.

Elfie

Just go ahead with the shovel!! Thanks so very much Sandy!!

chickiemama

Thank you Ank.

There was a huge spruce windbreak on the other end of the barn ebkrueg. The winds really roar right after a heavy snow in Northern Illinois. This was a problem everytime it snowed. The barn kind of acted like a windbreak and that is why the snow collected there. Thanks for your comment.

ebkrueg

Would a snow fence by the trees help??

puzzeljac

Love this Sandy, it's very beautiful.

chickiemama

OK I'll bite. What's the saying?

photogent

Chickster it reminds me of an old saying about an indian's butt. I left my snow blower with the last house I had in the North and I miss it soooooo.

goingsilver

It is a lovely scene, but I'm with JiggyBelle - I'd sooner hibernate and forget about the work outside!

chickiemama

You tu are a day (15 yrs.) late and a dollar short. LOL Thanks for offering.

morris186

The orris's will help yu, Gracie! We'll have yu out in no time, chickie!
You changed again, Gracie?

Graciela

No problem chickie, I'll be there with my snow blower! easy job!

chickiemama

Thank you JiggyBelle. I used to love being snowed in (until the work had to be done).

JiggyBelle

Chickie - this is beautiful! It's such a wonderful puzzle. And, yes, I would hibernate with a book and some cocoa instead of doing the work! LOL
