PJ - does this mean you want to be President of the YFC? I am so happy you enjoyed these! thank you!
Kirsten - - Of course, "The Lovers" is the most reproduced of all of his works, I think. I rather like "Medcine" for it's strength. Over the years I've had large calendars of his work and framed them. I wonder where they are now. I love his work. I did NOT notice the similarity. Thanks so very much. And, I thoroughly agree!Thank you for liking the upper right - It is one of my own creations! You are very welcome!!
Fun compositions and I just love the colors. Thanks, Jan.
That was really lovely for a change Jan!! I adore the top row. The top left and top middle remind me very much of Gutsav Klimt's work, which I adore. He used amazing colours and gilt. I have a couple of prints of his work - "Die Jungfrau" and "Danae". The top left is reminiscent of "The Lovers", and the top middle his "Tree of Life".The top right are just gorgeous colours, and clever pattern, as the colours from the flowers have been drawn out. Thanks so much! :)))
I'm so glad that you got "brightened! Thanks, Jan! :D
a mellow yellow, needed something to brighten my day.
Thank YOU, Mimi!
Absolutely wonderful, thanks my dear!
Gail, what I say to the weather is :P. What a dismal day and I have appointments and must drive!Katie - I guess rain is better than snow, right? :) That top one DOES have a chenille feel to it! Thanks so much to both of you!
This is a wonderful theme puzzle Jan! The sunny yellow is very welcome - it's raining in Columbus this morning too. I especially like the top center; it looks like fluffy, soft chenille.
We could use some sunshine here, couldn't we, Jan? It's raining sideways right now in Wilsonville. Ugh! Thanks for a little bright spot in this day.
Thanks, Barb! It's too dark to see if we'll have sun, but based on the last couple of weeks, I'm guessing NO. Glad to give you sunshine!! :DJenny - you must not be in the Caribbean! LOLArdy - I'm glad you liked it! I actually solved this one myself. Unlike Pat, I rarely do!Jill - Thanks so very much. Yellow is such a great color to work with. I'm glad you had fun!!
What a beautiful theme puzzle with a solve that was great fun! Thanks, Jan!
You do do themes thoroughly. Even in this size I found it a bit of a challenge. Thanks, Jan. I like looking at the sun through a rain splashed window in the middle right.
Gloomy is right Tiger
Ah, a lovely bright puzzle to offset a rather gloomy day here. Thanks, Jan! :-)
