..........sorry Fleetwood, somehow I read (Cord 1939, MY wife's car) ! Well, my apologies on that faux pas. Still, the restoration/museum's owner's wife (that's a mouthful) has great love of fine classic automobiles. In the end, this photo is a great fine !
Boston Jack, thank you for the updating info, the wife that owns this car is not mine, but the man that owns the restoration/museum I was touring. Later I'll post the bike she owns, another comment he made was she loves classic cars as much as he does!
He visto uno el año pasado en una exposicion en Buendia,España.Tengo la foto en mis archivos.Coche magnifico.
Beautiful car. I've only once ever seen one of these in person, about 35 years ago, when an antique car museum was driving a bunch of old cars through Hotchkiss, Colorado, of all places!
...........dear fleetwood, if you have the chance, tell your wife that she really has a 1937 Cord ! This, the 812 model, was first sold in 1936 and the unsold cars sold has 1937 models. But still this would mean that your wife is exceptional, given the car she drives. ! I can only afford a Jeep for my wife and she's exceptional too ! Great pic !
