She's a gorgeous woman, our Nat.
Thanks, Pk :-)
Love the new avatar ...Looks good on Sir Starlord.. :~)))))
Happy to oblige ... Till tomorrow then Do You Remember fans .... good night :o)
AnnouncementSince I won't be able to post a DYR on Sunday, Lady C volunteered to do it for me :-)Thanks in advance, Lady C ... IOU
Squishy, no pressure but, we need to get you a super new av. You know, we still have your statue, we could make your statue your av, it will look stunning - but ........ we have to present it to you in the chat room first :o)
Yes Squishy, you are quite right - but you see, it is diamonds in the evening because in the evening, it is dark and so no dazzling of the staff. Actually, that is not the true reason, but I can't write the true reason here - because I may offend, so you see Squishy, get yourself a Facebook account and I can tell you more ......
It's evening somewhere in the world, ladyc...
Trying things out, Aggie :-)Just for size you know
Aggie, that's a lovely thing to say, thank you :)))
And what book might that be, Aggie? :-)Must have overlooked the clue, Lady C
Thank you Starlord. I did allude to it in my goodnight message last night.
Congratulations with your 'STAR', Lady C and Major D :-)
Thank you Starlord and Squishy, I have had a lovely day/afternoon :o)Squishy, with regard to dazzling the peasants, lol, one wears pearls during the day. Diamonds are worn in the evening :)))Pkin, love your new avHi Aggie ...
Morning Aggie... Sure you would have known her... in due time :-)
You have a nice afternoon and catch you later. No Squish, Lady C always keeps a mile distance from the peasants :-)
Have a good day ladyc. Don't stay out in the sun for too long. And take your diamonds off, you're dazzling the peasants.
In the Dowager Countess of Grantham's immortal words - what's a weekend ? Au revoir my darlings, got to dash - places to go, people to see :o)
No, they didn't have a different name for it, squish. They simply had never heard of it before, but did know that two weeks meant "two weeks". So I had to be careful not to use the word fortnight again. U.S. people are extremely polite - always use "Sir" and "Ma'm" when speaking with strangers who they do not know. I noticed that the most.
Hard questions to start the day off.Wake up, brain :-)
That's really interesting, Neville. Do they have a different name for it - or don't they have fortnights at all? Have they suspended time as we know it? (Conspiracy Theory alert!!!!)
Here's another one for you squishy. Why don't U.S. folk know what a fortnight is? When I was over there and mentioned 'fortnight', they all looked at me with blank stares. They didn't have a clue what I was talking about.
And - why is it a weekend, not a weekstart?
Hi Squish. You were early today indeed :-)Tough questions you have there. May I add one? Why isn't midnight the middle of the night? :-)
We can manage to get time wrong all the time. I don't give it a second thought, or go into minute detail in my analysis of (h)our problem. One day, in a week (!!) moment, I'll understand why months are different lengths - (why is that, when all other time divisions are so precise? Baffled of UK.) Y'ear me?
Morning all! I was early today - but still too late!! Well done Karls! Love this song.
Glad you like it starlord. And please call me Kirsten. :)
Morning Major D. Had to make sure I didn't pick someone who was famous in... euh.... euh.... somewhere :-)Seen that before RW, but it's still a good performance. Thanks for sharing it.
Morning all (although it's 4:45 pm here, in Melbourne, Australia!)Here's my favourite vid of Torn, everyone. Not sure if this is the original, but it's still good. Oh, and ever so slight adult content at the beginning, but then it's good to go!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8AggJ3_Xf0
Morning all - easy one, in fact she is in the Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) film as the sensible one
Morning Randomworship, Katlvr, Neville and Lady C...Karls is now being tested on epo :-)I think it was a worldwide hit, Katlvr :-)Morning Neville, indeed, suddenly BAM, it's there, no warning :-)Morning Lady C (bow). Mariska Veres? Do you really think so? :-)
Good morning Starlord and Starlord fans - she is indeed a beautiful lady. She looks a bit like Mariska Veres (who I spotted the other day) with the dark hair and blue eyes :)
Good morning starlord, and all starlord fans. Congratulations to KARLS - wow, that was quick! Got in before me, I must admit.
Double drat RandomWorship. I hesitated wondering if I could jump in and BLAM...karls was there first!
It was a quick one today, Karls :-) Nathalie Imbruglia was today's Mystery Guest and thus you made it to the EHoF... :-) Congratulations. For those who don't know her (as this goes from the States to Australia, here she is with her greatest: Tornhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xq_lFdOzejA
