Everyone will be reprimanded, Pat. This just isn't right. LOL
Well, I tried again, and brought my time down to 8:44--still not even close! LOL!
LOL! Norma, you surprised me....and gave me quite the chuckle! :-)
Norma, oh...jeepers! Cut trees? OK, start counting- I want to know how old they are. LOL
They look like cut trees--I have the urge to count their rings---thanks for sharing!!
Yes, I did have to rub it in. It serves you right for being gone a good portion of the day yesterday. You do things like that and you'll get rusty. LOL
Ya had to rub it in, huh?! :-DDD
Pat...I can believe it. They follow in my footsteps. ;-)
On a side note though, I see that Mandy, whatnauts and chilisand have very impressive times on this puzzle. :-)
Well, geodes or wool felt pin cushions, they were recalcitrant rascals! 10:05! Great puzzle!
Mandy, those pin cushions are GORGEOUS! But I'm glad you think they look like geodes.
chilisand, I absolutely knew that you didn't mean that as an awful comment. I was teasing you...but now I realize I should have added an LOL to make sure that you knew. And you know that you're one of my very favorite puzzle solvers...and you wouldn't be if I thought you meant to be mean....ever! :-)
Anyway, now that I see how beautiful the wool felt pincushions look, I want my geodes to be pincushions instead. LOL! ;-)
I didn't mean it as an awful comment, I am a quilter, and these pincushions certainly brighten up the studio. and Yes, Monza, these are similar to the ones I was thinking of. (pardon the bad gammer ;-)
I think chilisand must have been shopping here!!!
The first thing I though of when I saw these was... geodes!!! I think they are fabulous, and a lovely idea, thanks Wendy.
Oh chilisand.....that's awful! But I just looked at the puzzle pieces up close and personal and see that because of Jigidi's compression, they do indeed look like they're made of felt. On my computer, before Jigidi gets its hand on the pieces, they're nice and glossy smooth.
They look like wool felt pincushions. Great puzzle, thanks!
Exactly, Pat! I debated on whether or not to push them beyond their borders and decided that yes, they should. LOL!
Delicious--and a perfect title! Who says (wo)man can't improve on nature?! I love the way they're pushing against the boundaries, refusing to be fenced in!
