Hi Jeannie. Too bad the stained glass windows are gone.
It's a lovely old church Sandy. Still looks in pretty good shape.
See if you can get on the app store in Amazon morris. LOL oddio.
Treasures in the small towns. I like the trace of lettering left on the sign board. Thanks, CM.BTW, I was able to load that "Wild Women Forever" channel no prob. (That _is_ what you were referring to, isn't it?)
Strange. I just tried on my phone and it loaded.
Thank you Adriana.Still not loading morris.
Oh no, I know that it sometimes take a while for it to load.
Great photo....and puzzle
Ya gotta stay inside morris! Or spend the day at the beach. BTW, can't get on WWF's for some reason this morning. Going into withdrawal.
Lets fix her up.I took the garbage out this morning and felt like the wicked witch of the west, I started melting. How do you do it all Summer?
Thank you Laura and Toto.
Lovely Chickie, thanks.
That church needs a little TLC. Look at the beautiful clear blue sky!
I was wonder where the steeple went smllpkg. : )Thank you Dave.
I like the walk too, Sandy. It leads me right in. Thanks
I'll bet they took the steeple/cross with them when they moved to their new, larger building because of the growth of their congregation.
Thank you JiggyBelle and alfurn562.It is in Hurst, Illinois in southern Illinois alfurn562.
I get images of the congregation of old coming to services. Great touching photo. Where is this?
This is such a beauty, Chickie. It makes me want to know the history. And, you are right....the inside would look like that. Great shot! Thanks.
I think I had a polarizer filter on Beekay. And the sun was still sort of low in the morning.
I curious how you managed to shoot a large white structure on a bright sunny day and get so much detail in it.
Wish I could see the inside. I can imagine old wood pews and an old worn wood floor.I know Suzy. I took some tighter shots, but chose this one because of the stone path.Me too Patti.LOL jc. You are cracking me up this morning!
Another wonderful photo, chickie!(You're teaching the photography class, right?)
I love it Sandy! My first thought was of the children going in for Sunday School. Can just see it.
Imagine how many folks walked the stone path over the years.
