We used to pull out the white parts and suck the sweet nectar. We called them shrimp plants. I grew up in Florida back in the 50-60's.
I love real shrimp. Oh, pumpkin, may I have some?
Shrimp. Our entire space smells of shrimp at the moment. Boiling shrimp shells, herbs and veggies to made a reduction for shrimp scampi :-) I think I may have a nice smelling candle around here I can use to get rid ofvthe shrimp smell!
Shrimp Plant ????? are U sure pg ???? .......You mean they get smaller ???? Explain please
Weird, in a way! They look like some kind of space bugs! Thanks for letting us see them.
Do they come with cocktail sauce?
Sure enough, that's what it is...a yellow shrimp plant. Thanks, PG!Yes, Robyn, they are fascinating!
These are called Shrimp plants LJ. They grow very well in Florida where it is hot and wet.
They're fascinating Laura - sort of like a fancy Candlewick plant with extras!!
Yes, they are very unusual! They caught my eye the minute I walked into the conservatory. Thanks, Lyndee, morris, chickie and snooker. Yes! Little dragons from the back.
Agree with, morris. Some sort of little critters like leafy sea dragons.
This is really strange.
They look like dragons from the back to me, Laura! Very interesting!
They do look very exotic. Very pretty
Unusual but rather pretty too.
