PJ, I drink grape juice every single day. Although I love orange juice too, I find that I can't live without grape juice. Yes, it's very refreshing. :-)Ardy, you're not that much older than I am! I'll check out Elfie's snow puzzle in a bit. :-)
Wendy, you are too young to have had little parasols on an ice cream sundae. And having one as a child was a very special treat. The country had just come out of the depression and money for things like that was hard to come by. I just found your comment on my snow picture from a couple of days ago. I suggested that for snow you check out Elfie especially the one of their property in Denmark posted today where it is snowing and snowing and ----
Grape juice is wonderfully refreshing!PJ
Ardy, I only remember those parasols being served with drinks, not ice cream sundaes. You lucked out if you got them with ice cream. :-)PJ, the only drinks I can serve (because it's all I have in the refrigerator), is grape juice or milk.
Yes - Wendy, I too think they look like wonderful little party parasols. I don't see the drinks though - are they coming??? Very enjoyable puzzle.PJ
Wendy, these are delightful. Love the pastel, spring like colors. Back in the "olden days" you used to get little paper parasols on the top of an ice cream sundae. They looked a lot like these. Thanks, Wendy.
Barb, you can have it now! My sister came over and I never had the time to fix that one (I think it needed more work).
What lovely parasols, Wendy! I think I'll put my order in right away before the summer season and before anyone else sees it and take that gorgeous turquoise one in the lower right corner. :-))
