Hi RebeBe, glad you liked it, I thought it was awesome too. I've never been fortunate enough to 'glean' but I remember as a child, watching the hay being cut and put into large 'haystacks. Perhaps the thing I remember most though is the smell of the freshly cut hay.

Awesome image. That Wheat is prickly & rigid. Gleaned a handful in a turnout at the edge of such a field (larger than my entire nearby town on the Olympic Peninsula!) as we drove around the Inland Empire east of the Cascade Mountains in Washington State ;-}
