LOL, she's not Josie. I bought a little green house so that I can put the two chicks outside during the day. This is a large plastic dish with sand that they like to dig in it. I sprinkle a little scratch so they have something to find. ☺︎

JOSIESCORNER

She is adorable, why is she in a litter box.)

Thanks Florrie. Maybe you should come up with two retro names for them. Make them unisex please. lol
Well Niccolino my rooster is blue and I have two buff hens but these don't look anything like the eggs my cousin hatched from my hens. Hers are buff at the top and blue at the bottom and definite blue/buff combo.

Is that what my Buffs looked like when they were chicks? I love their fluffy bloomers, too, niccolino.

Thanks everyone. I was pretty sure that both these chicks were hatched out of Orpington eggs and I don't have any Orpingtons in this colour so this is either a recessive gene coming through or they are out of one of the older hens, which is doubtful. They are out of my eggs Ardy but no possibility of any Sebright genes here.
Thank you Raini, that's the nicest comment I've had all day. Lol

Rainiqui

Fer cryin out loud Edie ~ That sounds like a title I'd make up, LOL.

These were hatched from your eggs, weren't they?? Looks like s/he has some Sebright (sp.?) genes. Pretty face. Thanks, Edie.

What a handsome beak, gorgeous wing feather tips, and fluffy bloomers!

tigress

Still a cutie. Thanks, Edie. :-)

Very cute, love the russet brown little face. Thanks Edie.
