Why are you reporting this puzzle?

A photo I took last summer on the North Yorkshire Moors, England. Some people pay thousands to shoot these as they are driven towards them and they call it sport.
I long for the day when everyone is sufficiently enlightened so that our wildlife can live in peace, without fearing these barbarians.

Everything is here for a reason!

david1957

I agree completely. That is why it is so important to look after the environment and not kill off insects by using loads of pesticides.

david1957

Thanks again chelsey. We can hope for a better world for wildlife in the future by not staying silent.

You are so right, David. We, the people, should protect the animals from us, the people. Other animals have to eat. I think this problem will never get solved and it is so sad.

david1957

Many thanks chelsey and Patti for your comments. What makes it worse is that many millions of foxes, stoats, weasels, hares, birds of prey etc. are also slaughtered by these people in order to 'protect' grouse and pheasants, so that they too can be killed!

PLG1958

Wow! Spectacular photo! (as always)

And of course I agree completely with you and chelsey15.

I completely agree with you, it would be wonderful. Instead of shooting switch to photo shooting! This way we'll have pictures to enjoy and animals will have their lives to live.
