Thanks guys for your interest in my picture. Regarding the Tuck in the background, it is a movie prop...one of 11 made for the movie Tucker. basically a fiberglass body on a Ford LTD.

Oh, okay, cool. thanks Gary . I learn something every day. that was good.

Pat, here is some info I found about that fuel filler. The early 81's have the fuel filler flap, while the later 81's have no filler flap but still have the indented lines running lengthwise down the hood on either side. The 82's have a totally flat hood as do the 83's. Many 83's have the raised "DeLorean" nameplate on the hood.

and, what is that little square thing on the hood right in front of the driver? ?? looks like a fuel filler? I have another picture that doesn't have that?

mr_51_vic_ss

What's the serial number on that Tucker? 1046?

mr_51_vic_ss

Oooo Wow, there is a Tucker in the background. cool. and the Delorean is cool too. I always thought they would be fun to drive. right along with the Mercedes 300 SL, and the Bricklin.
