Hi Laurajane. When I read Warbler's note ... I looked up Platycodon (sounds like a dinosaur!?) It shows this flower and gives a number of local names ... Japanese (Chinese or Korean) bellflowers or Balloon Flowers. So you're right!

Thank you Agnes!! Wow! It is very hot in your town!!!! Here it is 20C (68F). You should drink lots of water. I guess your flowers need lots of water too.
Pretty Blue Bells. They are so lovely. I have "One" in my garden, it came with the wind. Next year there will be a lot, they sow easy. There are also white and pink, but I like the blue most.
