Thank you Colin! Yes, our leaves are wet right now too. So much rain! (Didn't turn to snow last night as predicted, but my "neighbor," 30 miles away, did get snow!)

I love the feel and sound of crunchy leaves underfoot. Unfortunately, ours are so soggy they just cling to the bottoms of our boots. We've just finished what we hope will be the last but one raking. The yard waste pickup will be here tomorrow - they'll be glad to see the back of us!

I used to just mow the leaves into little pieces, and let them "return" to the trees that made them.'
