Shout? The colours on this label are screaming! Great puzzle too.
Is that counted cross stitch, showme? I love the way they achieve the wonderful use of many colors - they're like gems!
Yes, they do shout, indeed. Art minor here, I love colors. In the cross stitch, they required many, many different colored threads to achieve the shading of the fruits. Love 'em.
I imagine they must be great fun to do in cross stitch. I spent my life working in the graphics and printing industry, so I can spot certain things in printed pieces like these. Contrasting colors are used to get the best effects of them. They 'pop out,' as the term is used. This is expecially necessary in labeling, as the small label has to shout, so to speak, to be seen. Which is exactly what these labels do, even from a distance. You may not be able to read the type from a distance, but the colors are shouting, "Come and take a closer look at me!"
Very nice! Waxwing, I have done crate labels in cross stitch. Each one is beautiful. I love what they do with the colors. Thanks!
