This does look like a Cooper's Hawk, but I can't be sure. At least we caught a glimpse of him! Good job!

Yes, to the "snow hat." The snow just kept coming is squalls yesterday, and it is so cold that it hasn't melted. ; )

This was the only picture my husband could get of the culprit. When my husband moved, we think the hawk might have detected movement behind the window.

Great photo Roseheather. It probably is the same one, these birds have a very good memory and will come back to places where they have been feeding before.

It is a hawk, Lyndee.

It, or a realative of this one, has taken things from our yard in the past. This is the third or fourth year it has come by our feeding station.
