Thank you Patti and Floyd. They are my favourite breed so it is interesting that several of you didn't know them.

New to me, as well.
Interesting to see and learn more about them.

Thank you so much Lorna for your beautiful card. And what it helps when you buy them :-) I am so gratefull for all your nice Words, and just feel that I have been lucky. I hope I will se my Family for Christmas (at last) and then in the new year, I will start up a new year in many ways. Hugs ♥♥

That is a great introduction to them Kathleen! Yes, we had a particularly cold spell (for the UK anyway) but I love frosty days with bright sunshine. I almost hope we get some snow this winter as Elsa seemed to love the frost; progress through this field on our walk was slow thanks to her constantly stooping to roll in it - as well as for me to take photos! We are to revert to warmer but dull dreary weather again this week though. :(

Hi, Lorna. Your puzzle sent me searching Wikipedia for Jacob sheep as I have never seen the breed before. I found the breed association web page and fell in love with their opening description, "Jacob Sheep have graced the large estates and country homes of England for many centuries." It's not often here in the States that you hear the words "sheep" and "grace" in the same sentence. P.S. See you are already enjoying the winter whites. Stay warm.
