Two of the three rescued greyhounds I have loved and lost. I just came across this photo and can look at it and smile ☺

Awww, such beautiful faces!

Many thanks Ank and soo. Toby sounds like Elsa soo; she always has to investigate everything too!

Beautiful photo Lorna, made me smile too :) I'm sure I have mentioned that I often stop and talk to a lady who has a greyhound, his name is Toby and he is always curious to know what is in my shopping bag .... cat biscuits ☺☺☺

Love the photo and you comment. The expression on Tana's face is wonderful. ♥

That was the case with Tana but not with Murphy (or my 2 current dogs George & Elsa) Bonnie. There are definitely some caring and responsible owners and trainers out there - but unfortunately not enough... Murphy was a big wonderful bomb proof boy who gave Tana all the reassurance she needed when she wasn't sure if she should be fearful of something new. He was a Pets As Therapy dog - we visited a nursing home for elderly people with dementia and he was brilliant at it. Sadly he was only 9 when he got bone cancer. I think this photo was taken when I hadn't had Tana long; I love his protective big brother look and she adored him.

Thanks Pat, yes, definitely!

Oh yes Kathleen. I threatened to write a book along the lines of "What Katy Did Next" about Murphy's mischief!

Toto

With that hint of glee in their eyes, I imagine these two were a right fine pair of mischief makers, Lorna.

Wonderful picture and great memories ... Hugs

Beautiful dogs so loving, it annoys me so much that after a hard working life, earning money for their 'owners', they are abandoned when no longer economically viable :((
