Thanks for the comments.. Spohnster.
I wish I knew more. ?? Do you know this car? It was the center of the Liquid Glass empire of Charles Dorner of Battle Creek, MI. He has passed on now, but back in the '50's and 60's, he was offering a reward of $1000 if anyone could guess all the parts that it was made of from different cars.
I never understood that this car was fiberglass..... I guess it could have been fiberglass, but we just assumed that it was all steel and made from parts of other cars. By someone in Indiana? where Dorner had it made?? I don't know enough about this car, other than it was last seen in his basement of his house and now he is passed on and the house was sold and the car is ??? missing.
I don't know it to be a Spohn or not, or metal or fiberglass.... can't just go on what we think,,, has to be on what is known.
I would appreciate any info that you might have on this car if you do know about this car.
It is true that this car of Dorner's and all the Sphon's also looked like the GM Le Sabre Buick concept car. ... Too bad that Buick didn't follow through with that tail treatment.... well it sort of did in the '54. mildly.

This is a one-off fiberglass custom car. It is somewhat styled after the 1951 GM, Harley Earl, Le Sabre concept car. The blue (white?) car in the photo was not a product of Spohn Karosserie in Ravensburg, Germany
