HA! Good catch!

Now, now, Wideawake, we all know you're prone to exaggeration. It's only 12 days of profits for AIG, not two weeks... ;-)

It's like saying, "I'll tell you what to think!"

Hit my irony bone so hard I had to email the link to all my Independent friends! Fun puzzle, BTW.

I disagree. Corporate news writes what the corporate owned government wants us to hear. For instance, on the Goldman Sachs fine the headlines read "The biggest fine in Wall Street history!" That's true. Also true is that Goldman Sachs made $3.3 billion in the first quarter of 2010, making the $550 million fine equal to about 2 weeks profit. Maybe some people don't want to know the truth, but more and more people are waking up to the fact that the left/right paradigm was designed to separate us and distract us from the truth while we remain loyal to a "team". Many blessings to you!

Corporate news writes what people want to hear. Where they get it wrong is by sensationalizing or feeding (usually left wing) fantasies. For instancea greater tragedy than the gulf spill would have been never drilling there at all. Guess how many $ will be spent on each bird treated.
