David Cassidy reached the top of the UK singles chart with a cover version of The Rascals' 1967 hit, "How Can I Be Sure". It would be the first of two UK #1's for Cassidy, but in America it stalled at #25.

elvis only came here once.....soooo long ago....I think I was about 13....and my aunt took me and my mom and 3 of my friends.....I didn't like elvis much after the drugs started.......but when I saw him it was the thrill of a lifetime......I can see it all as I think about it......great concert...robin

sparklightie

lucky you thatch !!!!!!!!!!! wow!!! I would have given anything to see elvis live - i shall always be grateful to my best friend's mom (my mom's best friend) they once got tickets to see a new elvis movie that came out and my mom could not afford for me to go - her mom GAVE UP HER TICKET for me to go in her place xxx on my goodness it was so incredible and of course everyone was screaming too - i think i must have been about 9 or 10!!!!!!!!!

I loved The Partridge Family show and the song from the show as a kid, so when David C came to town my folks took me to the concert. I could barely hear the music for all of the girls screaming.

I have plenty of pills and the pain to match :)) Thanks Lori. Did you see the puzzle of Joey and I playing guitar?

farrell

I'm sorry to hear that Joe. The first days are the worst, but hey DO get better. Thinking of you & sending you big hugs...wish I could send you some of my pills. :)))

wjl1015

Actually it's kind of a rough morning but it'll get better :))

farrell

YAY! (thought if I got in early, I'd make the LB) :) Hope you're feeling well this morning! I mostly remember him from "The Partridge Family" :)))

PutterDutt

He had a nice voice and quite a reputation as a teen girl-magnet.
