D'accord! :)But no, I didn't know you were kidding. I just thought you didn't know what you were talking about! LOL!!! :)
You did realise that I was joking re Italians!! LOL I will take the blame - this time!! LOL
That would be the French that say "faux pas". . . and I believe, if I am not mistaken, that your lack of clarity on the restaurant's name and the exact date would be the "faux pas"!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!
How right you are but remember - you weren't stood up - you made a "faux pas" as the Italians say!! LOLOLOL
All the way to Wales. . . just to get stood up!!! . . . by a parrotman!!!! or is it the tugman that would have stood me up!!!!! Probably the tugman!!!!! Sailors!!!!!! LOL~ ;)))
I knew you were going to the wrong place!! You would have thought you had been stood up!! LOL
Somewhat pertinent information!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
You will be going to the wrong restaurant! The one we are going to is close to Caernarfon at Port Dinorwic called "Gardd Fon". I'd love to hear you pronounce that!! LOL On Tuesday!!
I Googled the bridge. The restaurant showed up on that page. So I looked at the restaurant page and it had menu as something you could look and events. I looked at both. Wine lowers your vibration which is why it doesn't feel good to me. If you enjoy it, you enjoy it. :)I will have to look at the menu again. Is it today? I'll be there! :)
I didn't know that you would get the menu on Google Earth, or perhaps you Googled the restaurant? You are , probably, right about the wine dulling the senses but I still enjoy it. We will be starting our meal at about 2PM (your time) so don't be late!! LOL I'll be looking!
That restaurant does pop up!!! or I would never have found it or even been looking for it. It certainly does! :) I figured it was wanting me to look at it! L0L! :)I don't think wine makes food better~ I think it dulls your senses so you really don't appreciate the food. I would not be able to eat all of what I told you because it is too much food for me for one sitting and wine just fills me up more! Too much food at once feeds your physical body. It weighs you down. Less and lighter feeds your ethereal body. So I have lots of little meals every day. . . like a bird!!! : >Scallops and moules and berries! :9If it is cold. . . you WILL find me snug by the fire!!! :)
I didn't know that the menu popped up like that!Does wine upset you if you have it with food? I don't drink at home unless there are visitors, but I like red with a meal out. My favourite starter would be seared scallops with a small salad (I like moules too!), my main would be a duck breast and Something chocolaty for dessert esp with something red berry as an accompaniment! There are lovely views of the Straits and there is a small "snug" with a log fire in the winter. You could "glow" in front of that!!
My ideal meal would be: Lobster bisque, a seafood crepe, a small spinach salad, and chocolate mousse. :) Bottled (in glass) water to drink. :)What would yours be?
Yes, I will be there. I want to sit outside near the water or at a window seat if the weather is too cold or rainy! You just have to remember that I am as Layla is. If you expect to see my physical self, you will be disappointed ~you will be looking in the wrong place!
I can't wait to see the new car color! :)Wax and dye are fine. I stay away from petrochemicals, artificial fragrances, cleaning chemicals and pesticides.I drink a little red wine from time to time but never with meals. Of course I looked at the menu! I had to choose what to have for dinner! It popped up when I googled the bridge! :)
I'll post a photo when I get it then you can decide about the colour! :-))Batik just uses wax and fabric dyes. Do they affect you?Are you teetotal? Did you look at the menu for real? I'm going for a meal next week, near Caernarfon, Are you coming!! ;-))
"Deep sea blue", yes, I do like that!!!! :) Does "deep sea blue" have green to it? I love batik but have never done it. I cannot be around the chemicals in oils. I had 30 minutes of training in watercolors, LOL!!!, from a high school art teacher, and have loved it since! :) I let my spirit guide me when I am painting. . . well really, all of the time. :)On the black cars, fear doesn't have to be part of YOUR world. It is just one of the possibilities~ an awareness of possible underlying emotion. You get to choose. There are basically only 2 emotions; fear and love~all other emotions fall on one side or the other. My meal was WONDERFUL!!! :) I sat on that top deck overlooking the water. :) I had a lobster salad and water for my drink! It was fabulous!!! :) I was very surprised to see that many things that I consider to be "American". The menu was interesting! :) The whole experience was interesting! :)
The colour of my next car is "Deep sea blue"! You would like that! ;-))You paint as well...........!! I did art at college. I got on better with oils rather than watercolours, but my main subject was batik. I loved doing that. You resume of black cars is good except for the "fear" bit! ;-))Our winter was horribly wet and warm with the strongest and longest storms in living memory!!I'm glad that you Googled! I've had nice meals in Dylans, so I hope yours was nice. What would you choose as your favourite meal in a restaurant - starters, mains and desserts!!?
I Googled the Earth and I saw your bridge. It is very cool! I was probably staring at your house without knowing it! LOL!! I am having dinner at Dylan's Restaurant tonight! :9 Looks pretty wonderful!!! Nice view over the water! :)
I need to be warm to be inspired too! LOL! Thus, doing jigsaw puzzles in front of a roaring fire in the "cold" winter of sunny South Carolina! :) LOL!!! (Last winter was a cold one here!)
Black cars. . . since you asked. . . LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!A car represents your body. So notice what shape is your car in. What kind of a car is it? (Those are rhetorical questions) Black means fear, secrecy, mystery or eternity. So notice which one applies to you. Deep blue is a very spiritual color. It represents deep peace, truth, and spiritual love. It is my favorite color to paint watercolors with.My car is deep blue!!! :)
I need to be warm to be inspired!! LOL
A quiet village! How quaint!!! :) Go outside at night!!! and listen!!! . . . and tell me what you hear!!!! :)Double glazing is not terribly inspirational. . . except when it's cold!
Thanks for that explanation re "fairy"/"faery"!! Thanks for that info about purple, it is a colour I like. My next car will be blue but my last two were black. I hate to think what you will tell me about black cars!! LOLIf you want to Google Earth you can look for Menai Bridge, Anglesey and i live not far away. You will see that I'm near to a strait and the nearest bit of sea to me is the Irish Sea. I live in a quiet village and I've got double glazing so I don't hear much at night!! LOL
"Fairies" are the resin ones that I collect ~ quite detailed and quite beautiful! They live in the house."Faeries" are the real fae in the woods. They shimmer! They are like no "worldly" light you have ever seen!
I am in the foothills of South Carolina, so the weather here is quite mild compared to where you are. We get snow, maybe 3 times a year. Last night I was listening to the night sounds sitting on the porch. The tinkle of glass wind chimes, deep resonant wind chimes, crickets and crickets and crickets, an occasional owl, the wind and the leaves. What are the night sounds in Wales where you are? The ocean? Can you hear the ocean?
Purple is the deepest, purest, holiest place of, not our physical bodies, but our ethereal bodies. It is the Violet Flame. So people who are drawn to those puzzles are probably in touch, even if subconsciously, with that essence of their being. Purple "feels" like "Home" because it truly is. : )
I have been told that, Liza. Lots of people enjoy the blue or purple jigs. What's special about purple? Sounds as if you live in a cold place. Where do you live? And don't tell me "In a faery (I usually spell "fairy") grotto", although I could believe it! LOLBTW Soooooo annoying when they "Freeze up"!!
This is the most healing color in the universe! Did you know that? : )This reminds me of your "Polar Bear" puzzle on which I spent 8 hours of my life, sitting in front of a fire out of the winter cold last year!!! It was the one that "FROZE UP" as I had 15 pieces to go!!! LOL!!! : )))
hi, janine. thanks for that. i hope you have a good day.:-))
Thank you for posting the 99 pcs., John. I love blue and this foam reminds me of stained glass...thank you, Janine.
