veruka

that's awesome, thanks!

juneshone

that's what we are having

Elfie

No, it's hard!! Soooo - how about an anonymous duck instead??

juneshone

not when you know their names

Elfie

Goat is awfully good, fine meat, very tasty!! I should think that peacocks would very easily be dry if they aren't wrapped into bacon or so!! You might stuff them with orange à la duck!!

juneshone

Wot no turkey for christmas! Better have duck then. On the other hand there are two noisy goats and two noisy peafowl out there, hmmmm dilemma

juneshone

I love my Kindle, it has 300 books on it at the moment, Favourite is Jeffrey Deaver

lelabugosi

ever-expanding-one.....I asked CLOG if she had the time on her.....she raised her left arm, and told me "No"........so, either she doesn't have my watch, or she's lying, or she has bad eyesight.......I BELIEVE YOU HAVE IT!.....
pd-thingy.....no crocodile, but one or two giant ants.......and boggle-eyed creatures of course......
As for turkeys - I didn't know there were any left......

Robbiel

Dad and I read voraciously as well June, he is reading all of Wilbur Smith's books for the second time round and I am reading all of Jeffrey Archer's books for the third time around!! I enjoy some crime fiction such as James Patterson's Cross books but mostly espionage. I still enjoy having a real book in my hand, I have no interest in the kindle thing, although I can see advantages.

pdevredis

Did you see a crocodile by any chance, Lela? One of those swallowed Captain Hook's clock, so that might be the culprit...

juneshone

was never into Alice or wizard stuff myself Robbie. History, that was my bag. Later historic novels but now only crime fiction can satisfy my voracious reading habit. Witzend has followed in Mom's footsteps too

Elfie

Oh, they did?? What a noise when the watches told the time - if they were that kind of course!! Imagine to be a turkey with a watch striking twelve inside!! Quite an experience really!!

Robbiel

I think a wild bunch of turkeys were gobbling watches recently in USA Hanne!

Robbiel

I found it Lela, I mean I see it!!! Look under CLOG's left arm pit, she is trying to hide it......One last devious deed before she goes straight!!
Thanks June, I never read or saw that Alice stuff or the wizard stuff, they never appealed to me. I like westerns and Jungle Book.......they suit my intellect!

Elfie

Relax and enjoy NOT to have a watch. Who was it that gobbled watches??

lelabugosi

"I'm late! I'm late!".....
(Well, I don't really know.......as I don't have a watch)........

juneshone

are you late?

lelabugosi

Has anyone seen my pocket-watch?......

juneshone

who would know that by heart, it's miles long I asked the Firefox

Elfie

Do you know it by heart or do you have the book next to you, June?? Just curious - it's gorgeous simply!! I don't understand a word, but it's like music, and you see lots of things......!!

juneshone

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

Hi Robbie, it's from alice through the Looking glass, and just to further confuse you here is the first verse:-

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Robbiel

David what have you been up to these past months, I don't understand half of what you are saying........( Politely speaking of course!)

david06520

O frabjous day
Callooo Callay...
!!

Robbiel

I can feel the love from out heeeerrrreee!!!!! I must get back in time for my show, there is so much going on around this place! I still have plenty of butter and salt.....Here Wicca baby!!

lelabugosi

Actually, it's from 'Bluebottle Untested Space Transport' (B.U.S.T.).......

gemstone

Rockets R Us :)

Elfie

Thanks twoclubs, sweet of you - look at that rockship, where did they buy it??

lelabugosi

Juneee appears to be tearful in a laughing, jolly, lost-control-of-her-emotions-completely sort of way.......

Witzend

Junee looks tearful doesn't she?

gemstone

Well, Juneeeee, now that you are the *star* reporter you will have to end all your messages with -30- (More media-speak! :DDD)

buckeye425

It looks like Bubba is headed to the rocket ship to warm up the engine for the return trip. Safe travels...if that's even possible! On the edge of my seat waiting for Junees reports.....

twoclubs

Here Hanne, a handkerchief for you and some popcorn while we wait to see if indeed they get to go home.

lelabugosi

We shall eagerly await your report in the Bonga-Bonga Bugle......mind you, we all have to get back home yet!.......

juneshone

Just managed to get in touch with my Editor. He says when I get back I will need a thorough de-briefing. All this new media-speak, haven't a clue what he means. anyway I now have lots of pencils and my reporter's notebook so will be interviewing like mad and writing the whole adventure up. Copy! That's more media-speak.

juneshone

A son to be proud of with the Mother he has always craved. All's Well that ends Well, hopefully

lelabugosi

Hee-Hee....'Robbie's Kitchen Nightmares'!......

Elfie

Ohhhh, hand me another handkerchief please, this one is all wet!! Hoooow wonderful, hooow romantic, hoooow - yes, how!!

gemstone

At last...Peace in time for Christmas! I take it that you are taking the picture, lela. I wouldn't worry too much about Robbie...he's probably trying to make it in time to rehearsals for his new cooking show.

lelabugosi

In a tearful reunion (Junee-was-shining lost control of her emotions), Kaleidoboy, joined by Kaleidodaddy, was reunited with his 'new' mother - the supposedly evil CLOG.......
They met on the 'Planet Of Forgotten Memories' - a place littered with tv sets transmitting the famous Bonga-Bonga test-card......This is where Kaleidoboy landed by mistake in his mission to rescue Junee....
The good news is that Creepylittleoldgranny is resolved to give up her wicked ways, happy in the knowledge that her son is a true superhero (we refrained from telling her otherwise)..........Kaleidoboy will be free to return with us all tomorrow, to the peaceful haven of Bonga-Bonga........
Bubba-from Rebmuda can be seen rising on the horizon....... I am trying to catch him before he drifts further away into empty space......
