hi Dear Friends - i am back - we had the most wonderful holiday down at the coast - weather was a lot warmer than johannesburg thank goodness - we just chilled out completely, walked lots, slept lots,sat on the beach and listened to the sound of the waves, went for long drives and listened to lots of old cds - the best therapy, played lots of scrabble on my phone ... no computer!! Hope you have all been well and had a good week, sorry to hear about you mom kat - please god she gets better soon xxx You were always ion my thoughts LOTS OF LOVE michelle xxxxxx

Hi John and all! Just a quick note to thank you all for your well wishes for my Mom. She has made remarkable progress - she is recovering and will come home, perhaps within two weeks. John, you asked about how close the hospital is to home - it's less than 10 minutes away. With parking and navigating the hospital campus, I can be sitting in her room 15 minutes after she calls me! That has allowed me to spend most nights at home since that first week. It looks like she will spend about a week in an intermediate rehab facility; don't know if we'll be as fortunate with the distance there, but at least then we'll have that definitive target date!

I saw Michelle's note that she would be away; didn't get to tell her to have a great vacation. Hoping everyone is well.
