Why are you reporting this puzzle?
This new pontoon based excavator, the Kari Hege, was built by Goodchild Marine of Great Yarmouth and purchased by the harbour and is now dredging approximately 40,000-60,000m3 of material from a mile long section of channel from Number 1 buoy near the harbour entrance to Buxton’s Bight and in the new jetty area. After the initial dredging has taken place, it will be ongoing to maintain an operational depth of 1m.
