Thank you my friend.
Wow! I tried counting them, but there's just too many, I keep losing track from where I started! I'm just going to say "there are lots"! L.O.L. Great pic Sandy, thanks!
Thank you robryan, laura, Michelle and Maryrob.LOL Michelle.
A whole bunch!!!!!!!
This was harder than a "Where's Waldo?"! I counted 23 under the maximum my screen would magnify but wow, Sandy, this is something else! I dub thee "Cardinal Whisperer", ma'am!
Soooo beautiful, chickie! We really are hoarding the cardinals! These guys look so good against the greenery.
What a great sight chickie - must be fun to see so many birds!
Thank you Suzy. The reason there are so many is because we had freezing rain and sleet yesterday. They all came to the feeder because they couldn't get to food anywhere else. Normally the feeder does not have that many waiting and ground feeding.
What are you feeding them? This is just amazing!!!!
Thank you warbler.
I give up Chickie-I only have ten fingers and ten toes. Great shot!
Thank you Hanne, gnt, morris, lyndee, snooker, A3ana and tex.I know exactly the one you are referring to oddio.
Just beautiful, Chickie! You're so lucky. Thanks.
I see 29 bird
Counted 28 but not sure if there were a few of something else in there. Good photo.
Those birds must be busy on their cell phones texting each other. "Safe haven and lots of free food at Chickie's". LOL
CM, I think everyone missed that one on the large tree in the background... ? :>D
I counted 29 birds, I think that only 26 were Cardinals, though!!!I am so jealous!!!
well I counted 20 male and female.....great photo chickie
Oh my! Many! I guess some of them are females!! Thanks so very much Sandy!!
Thank you lyndee, grandmalucy and roseheather. They are still here, plus this morning after just looking out, there are also bluejays, white-crowned sparrows, goldfinch, housefinch, Carolina Chickadees, Grackles, red-bellied woodpecker, mourning doves, slate-colored juncos and tufted titmouse.Tatinha, the male cardinal is red and the female cardinals are lighter. Here is a link to a puzzle of a female cardinal. http://www.jigidi.com/created.php?id=ORPAL6QW
I counted 21, but I was so shocked at seeing so many that I could be WAY off. WOW, Chickie - you are the Cardinal Whisperer! Thanks so much!!
All the cardinals are red? I never see one.
I think there are only about 21 cardinals. There are some other birds in the puzzle as well, but they aren't cardinals. ; )
Wonderful photo of the cardinals. We had a goodly number at our feeding station too, yesterdat, but not this many!
I saw 28 too. There's one on a branch just behind the pole, it's just a red shadow. Anyone saw it too? Amazing shot!
I see 28 birds.... love the photo tho. i enjoy the cardinal..
After solving the puzzle, I think there's at least 28. Wow!
Yep! I think I count 20 plus. Actually 24 but maybe I counted a pine cone here and there! LOL I've seen this many bluejays before, but never cardinals. Are they still hanging around?
LOL jc.You are welcome Gladstone and Naoma.
It is a wonderful picture. We don't see them in Utah, but when we lived in Maryland we had a lot of them in our yard. I miss seeing them. Thank you for sharing.
WOW!! Great to see that many beautiful birds. Thank you.
You are truly the Bird Goddess! All hail, Chickiemama!
Thank you young man, jcarroll Dottie and Bizarra. I counted 23. Some are females and there are a few way back in the tree.
Is this real? photogent is right.
jcarroll, I counted 21, but I might have counted one that isn't a Cardinal. This is an amazing photo, Chickie! Thank you!!
This is an incredible picture, chickie! 20? There's several other kinds of birds there, too, right?
This is just not right on so many levels. Now I know where all the red birds are hiding. No wonder I do not see many, you have hypnotized them in staying up in the cold country. Very nice young lady.
