Thanks, Mazda. Lovey, there are many sugar houses all over Vermont both public and private. What you ate is called sugar on snow - unique name, huh? LOL! Its a traditional Vermont treat but you can do it at home. If you live where it never snows use crushed ice, boil PURE VERMONT Maple Syrup until it gets a little thicker than it was when you bought it - then drizzle it over snow or crushed ice and enjoy. Lots of us eat sour pickles between the sugar. Yummy!
I might have been to this one a long time ago. We boiled the sap 'til it got thick and drizzled it in a thin line on snow. It sets up right away, then we took a fork and wound the hardened sap up on it and ate it. Its very sweet and sticky, but mmm good!
Beautiful puzzle. Thanks for the fun.
I'm honored, PLG1958! Glad you enjoyed it.
I usually only solve the small puzzles, but I loved this one so much I couldn't resist it! Thank you, VermontMeow!
