Kayell

The Schipol incident was on the BBC TV news just now, Impie - also a very scary film of an Icelandair plane having two attempts to land at Manchester airport.

Doris - sorry - Ms Day (ho ho!) seems to have calmed down here. Hope she doesn't stay with you for too long!

Impie

I will stay inside Kayell....don't worry! ☺♥☺

We can write her down on the calender 23.February 2017 as "Doris Day" then...:))

Our Met. Office gives out colour code alerts from green, yellow, orange to red. Red is the worst but also with Orange we'll get adviced to stay at home if you can. Airports take these codes very seriously and will shut down runways to a minimum. On Schiphol Airport today a small plane got in trouble and made a crash-landing. The right landing gear broke after it touched the ground. Nobody got hurt and all 59 passengers got off the plane safely!

Yes - you stay inside, Goofie... You've probably got Doris on her way to see you (she's over here at the moment).

Our Met. Office has just started giving major storms (like your Code Orange) proper names. So far this year we've had visits from Angus, Barbara and Conor (you get the general idea...?). It's supposed to make us all take them more seriously. The trouble is that, eg, Doris is really not a very scary name. Damien might have been better...!

Impie

Thank you petsmom I wish you were right....but today the weather is even worse than yesterday.....

That's truly a comfort Pammi, but today in order to see MY garden I've been sentenced to my sill bed again!! For this afternoon (± 4 pm. which is withing 15 minutes) there's called a "Code Orange warning" (heavy storm) so I'll stay inside!!! ♥☺♥

I hope so too Carrie....I have my paws crossed everything will stay put in our garden with this heavy storm!

I don't mind Pammi, just go ahead! ♥

honeylemon, I'm not really upset about the weather just very disappointed :)))

Yes Lynetteoz I'm glad I have this lovely bed with a view, but I would love to have the sun back and the storm gone! ;-)

Lynetteoz

You just enjoy your lovely sill bed Goofie because its warm and right by the window :-)

honeylemon

Goofie you shouldn't be upset with the beautiful day you had enjoyed yesterday walking around and besides the day will come to were you will realize that you have had the best day ever! You will spend lots of time on your soft sill bed and you will have the time to sleep as long as you want. :-)

Pammi

Impie, I hope you don't mind but I have to say a few words to Atsutsa. You go girl and keep up the good work. I have never heeded anyone who might say of me that I 'don't know my place'. Who wants to be a pumpkin and take notice of that kind of negativity? ☺☺☺

cbmuller

I understand! Maybe that will happen again for you soon!

Pammi

.....and we love seeing you on your cosy and warm sill bed, Goofie. That's the place to be when it's raining. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better for you. ♥☺♥

petsmom

Glad you're enjoying your sill bed, Goofie. It looks very comfortable. At least you're nice and dry inside the house. Maybe the rain will go away soon.

Impie

Neither do we Mrs. soo, it will come our way too! ♥♥

soo

I'm afraid we can't send you any sunbeams Goofie as we have a storm on it's way tomorrow and we are not looking forward to that! ♥♥

Impie

Yes it is Rebecca, I just love my sill bed. ;))

...♥♥♥...nillie

Thanks LMSmithcats...I hope the sun will be back here soon...:))

I have to patient luckybie the sun is on holiday it seems and there's nothing I can do about it. The main downside is that I can't go on patrols when it rains and storms.....

Sorry the rains came along, but it will help the catnip grow. Stay nice and warm on your bed.

nillie

If you can't be outside, it's a good second choice (since you're not a lap cat!)

Impie

Atsutsa, I don't know (many) native women, but I do know what you mean. It's like what we talked about the other day (the manager types, the do-gooders in this world etc). No matter if the job gets done or it's going just fine...there's always someone who feels the need to change things (or people for that matter) but it's not always for the better!!!!

Atsutsa

Impie, you would understand if you got to know many Native women. In the days before Europeans found our land desirable woman in most tribes have total control over certain aspects of their lives and even voted to go to war or not. Nowadays we just like to be "curious" and we don't "know our place" very well; that is we do what we want and how we want as long as it gets the job done. I think that some would call it unpredictable, but it works unless some do-gooder sticks his nose in.

Impie

Oh thank you for the encouraging words Atsutsa.....

P.S. I had to laugh that it's called Mr. Rain if negative! LOL

Atsutsa

Yes, I've heard that your sun disappeared today? Well, Goofie, don't you worry because Mr. Sun just arranged with Miss Rain (Mr. Rain if it's lightening according to my Navajo sister in law) to give her some time to appear in order to get your catnip plant ready to grow, grow, grow!
