Who did the set-ups?? I would right in and make them correct that and give credit where credit is due!!!
Yes, cots . . . but today's paper says only about 10 of the 50 "rescuees" had to stay the night. Our paper also gave credit to the Red Cross for the set-up, but they had nothing to do with it!
That's terrible!! I'm glad the police got you to a warm place with hot food. Did they have cots set up in case you had to stay the night??
It got so cold in our apartments that we were driven by the police up to the high school where they were waiting for us with hot food! I sat at a big table with fun ladies and we had a pretty good time laughing and telling stories . . . . they drove us back around 6pm when the electricity was back on. Took a LONG time for the place to warm up again, but we were all so glad just to have electricity we didn't care!
No, not even for 10 seconds!! I was really surprised; thought for sure trees would come down from all that roaring wind!!! Were you able to have heat...wood stove???
I love all Dolly's dresses - so hard to choose! Okay, the peach one!Did you loose power in the storm, cakes? We did - for about 16 hours. I couldn't find my way to your house because they wouldn't let cars on the road!
