Yes Lorna - the slavery image I think was an early example of using art as a campaigning statement, as it was made into several types of jewellery which people wore in much the same way as people today wear ribbons and wrist bands for different causes. The bottom right design was on a large vase - a bit hard to see on the jigsaw - but it was the design rather than the vase which I wanted to show! He wasn't all Jasperware!
