Wow, I didn't know that. It's amazing to me that hummingbirds migrate so far away to be such a teensy little bird, not much bigger than a wasp. Good information. Thanks.
texasstar7 I hope you read this. I was thinking of Christmas cards, therefore winter. But do you know this, most winter robins we see have migrated from Europe to the UK and the UK robins have migrated to Europe and then vice versa. Such a small bird migrating hundreds of miles twice a year is inconceivable as the weather is just as bad where they go. Still, it's a pleasure to see them.
This is a lovely puzzle, a wonderful little creature. Franneke, I think most of it is because we all associate the Robin with springtime. However, they're here all year. Thanks, WeeMac.
