Why are you reporting this puzzle?

This is Floris the kitty of an old colleague we visited this afternoon.
Floris is abt. 9 years old and lives the Royal life of a King with his human mum. He so deserve it...he is such a sweet boy, he wobbles when he walks. Some years ago before Floris came to live with his mum he had been trapped in a rabbit-trap with his hind body. It didn't look good and at first they wanted to put him down but after surgery and lots of therapy he slowly recovered. It's just amazing how he handles his handicap, he jumps on the sill and chairs and apart from his 'wobbling' you don't notice anything wrong with him. He's a very adorable kitty boy! ♥

Atsutsa I thought Goofie was waited on hand and foot, but Floris' mum is spoiling him rotten. He wakes her up at 6:00 am every morning...he then wants his breakfast . Her neighbour who had often seen her light burning in the kitchen asked her not so long ago why she had to get up this early (after all she's an older lady who has just turned 83 two weeks ago!) She told him "my cat needs to go to his littertray and wants his breakfast and he's still used to 'wintertime'....(last saturday of March we'll put the hand of the clock one hour forward again so he'll wake her at 7:00 am.!!)☺☺☺

Yes nan, he's a sweetheart. When I saw him walk for the first time it was odd for me to see how his hind legs move and how he almost tumbles when he makes his turn too fast, but it doesn't stop him from being a 'normal' cat. He jumps, runs, plays he can even scratch himself with either leg.
I haven't spoken to her today but it wouldn't surprise me if Floris keeps his corner of the couch and his mum will sit on the other side from now on! LOL

nanlein

Truly a handsome cat. So glad his story ended well. Joining the chorus in wishing Floris a long and continually loving life. Hope he has remembered where to sit now. nan

I'm not sure who trains who in cat-human relationships.. That's do funny, but I do recognize the ownership issue.

Impie

Thank you all for your lovely comments. This morning I got a call from his mum telling me I have had a bad influence on him yesterday to go sit next to him on the couch. It's usually her place to read the paper in the morning and then she'll tell Floris to go sit on the other seat next to her..... until yesterday he had obeyed, but not this morning.... he stayed put. She 'blamed' me for it for not telling him to move over and just go sit next to him!! LOL

What a gorgeous boy! He has an air of authority about him and obviously knows that whatever Floris wants, Floris gets....

Cats are very good at overcoming physical problems. A vet we used to go to years ago had a resident 3 legged cat (one front leg missing). He was really friendly and used to inspect all the baskets that came in to the waiting room with great interest. He would then jump up onto his cushion on the reception desk and, if any dogs were a bit too pushy, he smacked them on the nose with his remaining paw...

Floris is a nice looking kitty and I love the happy ending :-)

Pammi

Floris, now there are two kitties with those fabulous ears for me to admire. I would try to introduce you to Willow if I could so you could both compare whose are best but alas! whisper: I think Tres might be a teeny bit put out as he and Willow are...sort of...you know....a pair of lovebugs. Oops, did I say that? ☺☺☺☺☺

He makes a regal homeowner

canoekaw

I think his ears rival Willow's ears. He does look like a very nice boy kitty. I am glad he is loved.

A very handsome boy. Glad he has a loving home.

Right on, Floris!!! May you reign in your domain for a VERY LONG Time! You deserve it!

GOSPELGRANDMA

I agree that this is an intelligent and regal looking cat in this shot! I'm so thankful he is loved and cared for. Thanks for sharing!

Atsutsa

He looks quite intelligence and a bit dis-believing in the idea of pictures. What a majestic being.

RebeccaB

The dignity and serenity of a cat. They all have much to give, if given the chance. Thanks for sharing.

Olya
