Wow what a building :)
Having attended both types, I can say that the stage after a one-room school is a multi-room school like this. When they "centralized" our school system, they closed the one-room school I'd attended from k-5, and I was bussed to a school like this in Hannawa Falls, with 6th grade on the first floor, and 5th grade on the second. The school I attended was actually a bit bigger than this one.
Robryan, Jigidi uses Flash for the puzzles. I find that periodically, my puzzles won't open - over time, Flash gets corrupted in my browser. I close my browser and restart it, and that usually works (Safari on Mac), although occasionally I restart the computer to clear everything up.
I forgot to mention chookie - I'm still having trouble solving about 25% of puzzles - they won't 'prepare'!! GGRR!! I just saw your message on Shirley's puzzle - & I couldn't open that one.
Great pic chookie - it's a real sad sight! Thanks.
Nice photo chookies.
It was listed as a school and you can also tell by the small verandah over the front door that it's a school..... Thanks for dropping by twoclubs, lyndee, PG and shirley:)
Another one bites the dust, Thanks for the puzzle chookies.
It does look like a home not a school.
This looks more like a house than it does a school. Nice puzzle though.
That had to be a beautiful home once upon a time. And very large but elegant in style.
