Hi dondi! I actually didn't see that the roofs were flared until you mentioned it, which agrees with Japanese roofs. Apart from that I think the house could have been located practically anywhere. Thanks for commenting. :-))

Hi Sue, I've must have had something wrong with my eyes earlier when looking at this house.... LOL. I now realize that it's a stone house and not, as I first thought, a wooden house. So you'll have a bit of a project to change the colour on this one Sue.... LOL

Not sure what to make of this house Kari, it's a bit of a mishmash. Must admit if this was mine I'd have to do something with the exterior walls to brighten it up. Nevertheless it make a good puzzle and I like the garden. Thanks Kari...Sue

It definitely looks western, but I see Japanese, not Swedish, in the flare of the roofs.

Sounds like an interesting (and a fair) guess Joyce! LOL.... I was actually thinking of American style before. Love the cladding and with that dark colour and white windows it reminds me of my late grandmother's house (much smaller though). Glad you enjoyed the puzzle Joyce! :-))

I wouldn't have guessed Tokyo either!! Has a lot of American style to it and some English with those chimneys and even some Swedish with the chalet type roofs!! How's that for a guess Kari??? LOL Thanks for a fun puzzle!! :)))

I agree with you - if I didn't know where this picture was taken I would never have guessed it was in Tokyo. I'm glad you liked the house and thanks for commenting elegant! :-))

It's funny, because you wouldn't think of this as being a house typical of Tokyo, not that I know what kinds of houses they have in Tokyo nowadays! It's a very pretty house all the same.
