It is Janet. Thanks and hugs.

Jacki, the first time I saw them, there were 7. The third or fourth time I only saw 6. Every time I've seen them since I have been able to count 6. But mostly I've seen them while they were near the shore and in places where the seventh could be present, but hiding behind a thick patch of reeds. I keep hoping to be able to count seven with assurance, but it begins to look like they did lose one.

i think you started with 4 and they're all still there, no?

Wonderful to see them getting bigger and prettier! Thanks and hugs Jacki.

It's hard to tell exactly how many there are as some have their heads down in the water searching out just the right seaweeds to munch on. I think I see 3 tails plus two bodies with heads down on the left and one more between the two adults.

they are getting big already. and there are still 4. i hate to see the geese on our lake lose a baby or 2 a year, i think from the bass in the lake.

They are still staying so close to each other; very much a family unit. Thanks Ardy and ♥hugs♥
