Hi pumpkinhead. The upper part of Mosquito Creek is really not that bad. I exaggerated a bit. There are some hikes that I just simply couldn't do. The Grouse Grind basically goes straight up Grouse Mountain. They tell me it's like going up 25 fights of stairs two at a time. No thank you!

Hi mariolyn. Thank you. I'm glad you like the picture!

Hi mpilnladyful, Thank you. I'm always happy to read your comments. I'm glad you are planning to do the suspension bridge with us too !

mpilnadyful

This is beautiful. We'll all have plenty of time in the winter to "get in shape" (sure) and in the Spring we'll hike it together!!! And really looking forward to your Lynn Valley suspension bridge pics. Thanks

mariolyn

Delightful!

pumpkinhead

I am patient! :)

cevas

Sigh! I'll have to do some serious training for a while. Maybe in the Spring.

pumpkinhead

Would like to see the "other" part of the trail! :)

Hi goingsilver. I waited until the path was empty before I took the picture. When strangers pass each other on city streets no one smiles or says hello but when people pass on a forest trail they often acknowledge each other in some way.

So pretty, and not a soul in sight!

Thanks Ank. This hike matches my fitness ( or lack of it) level. I will have to let others take you on the difficult hikes. One day I hope to take you and my other jigidi friends up to the Lynn Valley suspension bridge and Stanley Park.

puzzeljac

But also this part is lovely. Thanks

cevas

Hi JC. You're right. It gets less civilized further up the mountain.

cevas

Hi texasstar. You are very welcome.

texasstar7

Pretty. Thanks, Cevas!

cevas

A very civilized part of the trail !!
