I visited England in 1983, and saw red Mini cars. We stayed a while in the countryside and brown teapots and the fried eggs were daily in use. This may be due to differences between town and country - I think. The digital revolution we're experiencing now is changing everyday living - tremendously, don't you agree?
Well, you learn something new every day! I've not come across any of these traditions - perhaps they were popular in the Middle Ages - although not the Mini. That was circa 1959 I believe.
Your vision is excellent Carthill - have you read the booklet? 'Red Mini cars, brown teapots and fried eggs' are all parts of English traditions, and still in use today - I believe.
PJ, I can see red Mini cars, brown teapots and fried eggs here. Is there a connection?
Thank you Mandy - glad you liked it. Just to make sure - you're not feeling a bit alian.... (Only kidding, the 'Monza' alien was all green with an extra-terrestial shape - but he did enjoy himself in England)
PJ, this is great!! Thanks for the fun ;~)
This is a kaleidoed version of an alien called 'Monza': there is a booklet describing his visit in England.
