Thank you trish.
it is sad when abandoned things decay, crumbling from neglect. looks like this once happy place is falling to staves. however, there is a good market for weathered wood. one man's trash...thanks chickiemama!
Thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments. This the inside of an old church. I will post the church pics on another day. p.s. I only stood in the doorway.
is this your new bathroom Fay?
Hi Morris and. Celeste. Good to see you two this weekend!
Good thing nothing fell on you!!!
Wow this looks like it was a good sized room I bet there are a few stories to be told :)Great pic Chickie :)
Look at the curved tops of the windows. $$$$$! The sunlight on the wall looks like a skylight instead of the skeleton of the roof. I wonder what it was in it's past life. Very evocative image, chickie. Mark up another one.
Wow. Probably have to tear the whole thing down and start over. Nice pic, though.
Hurry Sandy, get out before it caves in on you! That roof looks like it's going to give any minute now! L.O.L. You are definitely braver than I am!
You are brave chickie, the whole thing is ready to fall down, but makes a great puzzle!
At least the floor looks OK for stepping on!
By the look of the windows and the wainscoting, it was beautiful once. Interesting to see the fluorescent light contrasting the old.
Oh my! Hope you didn't stay in there long! :) Thanks, Chickie!
If I had gone in and seen this I would leave very soon as this looks like it will fall in soon
Somehow you feel like making it fine again, and then you know that you shouldn't because it's too damaged now. But somehow I can feel the atmosphere of the room, and it's good!! It ought to be preserved, but it would cost a million!! Thanks so very much Sandy1!
I was holding my breath with you on your journey. And it wasn't bad. Scary is just in our mind. So is caution but caution turns on and off easier. In fact, I wonder if our old barns sort of look like this from inside if you know what I mean. I bet the next time is even easier. Thank you for the photos. Go Chickie!! More!!
You were brave! Looks like it was nice at one time.
I have to share this one on my facebook! Thanks a lot Sandy. I must back to study. Have a nice Sunday.
I see places like this chickie, I want to start cleaning out the debris and start fixing it up! And I love challenges! Thanks for taking this picture!
