Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Thank you Bill!

This came to me today from Bill_I_Am as a wonderful Thanksgiving greeting filled with warmth. One look at it and I knew I had to try and share it with my other Jigidi friends. It really is a stunning watercolor! Just beautiful!!

About the artist: Al Albrektson, an acclaimed New England artist, maintains a studio at his home in West Warwick, Rhode Island, where he still paints and teaches watercolor classes at age 97.

Albrektson was the owner of the Albrektson Studio, where he worked as an illustrator and art director for many years. He is a Rhode Island School of Design graduate and member of many professional art associations, including the Providence Art Club, Rockport Art Association, North Shore Arts Association and the Rhode Island Watercolor Society.

“Day’s End” is Albrektson’s sixth painting to be featured on the Amica Thanksgiving card.

Yes, I thought so. I'm glad you liked it and glad that I had the opportunity to share it, so thank you Pat.

Yup, it made a good puzzle. Thanks posting it, Andy.

Tincup

I could type the "Happy Thanksgiving" part.

Bommom

I think I'd be able to do the birds. Well, maybe not, they'd probably come off looking like check marks.

dris651

Yeah, so easy! I couldn't even do a fair rendition of just the house! Thanks Gayle.

Bommom

And, it looks so easy. Evidently all you have to do is smear a wet brush around and voila, a beautiful Thanksgiving. Very nice, you two! (A & B)

dris651

Yes. Albrektson gets a lot of rich hues out of a bunch of watercolors!

Tincup

The puzzle was really vibrant when finished. Love those saturated colors!

dris651

Thanks Bill, Leanne and Marilee. I hope you all had a lovely day as well, holiday or not. And yes, it really is a gorgeous painting. I love his vibrant use of colors, celebrating the day and all it brought. A place like this could easily be my dream house out in the country, on a small lake...

Tincup

How wonderful to send and to share! Hope you all had a yummy Thanksgiving.
