In spring when lots of ice and snow breaks up and melts this canyon will be very much filled with water and it will run through both sides. But when the amounts of water gets less, it's only enough for one of the arches. I guess - and it's a guess really - that it's about a couple of hundred years old!! - because of the style and the "massitivity"! Thanks so very much Jan!!

Hanne, did it used to be that water went through both sides? It is just so powerful looking! Very nice!
Do you have any idea how old it is? Just curious....

It's a wonderful work from older times when they had time and could afford it!! People starved but the bridges were majestic!! Thanks so very much Sandy!!
