Yep, Edie! Their feathers are ruffled, indeed!
They are and to me they looked very peeved off. lol thanks Brie
Their faces are so expressive!
Hi 2 dogs7cats - please could you try again on the Twinkle Jiggie I'm almost there http://www.jigidi.com/puzzle.php?id=8BAL3F2D
Thanks Rosie and Gail.
One word ~ YAY!!!!
So good to see the Fab Four and the BG is healing nicely. They sure are getting big and healthy looking. I hope they turn out to be the sexes you want so you can keep Cloud and Chicklet. They are all so pretty. Thanks for the update, Edie.
Anything's possible. Guess you'll have to stay tuned. Cloud has to be a hen for sure first and I need to find a home for that mixed rooster as well. Thought I had one but they bought the last three chicks instead and now they don't want him.
Does this mean that 2 of my favourites (Cloud and Chicklet) may become a 'twosome'? :-))
Once they establish who is the boss they will tolerate each other just as my two original roosters do. However since I now think Cloud is a hen I may think of keeping Chicklet. I don't have a roo that colour and he is purebred.
So, will BG and Chicklet still get along as adults if they're both roo?
Thanks everyone for still following along with their progress. I checked BG yesterday and everything seems to be healing nicely. Still scabbed but that's to be expected. I thought they would like the new coop better but apparently I was wrong. BG looks rather angry here, to me anyway. Ardy BG and the one in the back corner are both cross breeds and they come from either Bella or Donna who have rather large combs so I'm not sure of their sex but I'm thinking roo for BG. The other two are both purebred and right now Chicklet is looking roo while the little black one is looking hen. Haven't posted them for sale yet because I want BG completely healed before I do.
Glad to see the "feather kids" doing so well. Been wondering how they were. Thanks for keeping us up to date. Good job
Looks like they want "mom" to cut the apron strings! As long as there is food and shelter, of course. LOL
It is wonderful to see them back home together and BG looks great. Thanks Edie.
Thank you. I do love these updates. (Just tell them their adoring public wants to see how they are.)
BG, Chicklet and one of the little ones have a lot of red around their beaks but the little one on the right doesn't seem to have any. I am so happy to see BG looking so good. I do hope he heals completely and that there are no more encounters with that hawk for any of them.
BG seems to be healing very nicely, Edie. Good to see the fab 4 in their old quarters. :-)
