Oh WOW...I've learned 2 or maybe 3 new things...the third might be I need glasses. Thanks Pat, I appreciate your knowledge.

Nice cars, these, 'though I have never liked the silly shrunken taillights. But, like the '58 Plymouth, they did not they did not produce less light since it was reflected off the silver backing surround.

Hey Jim. Chrysler "Letter Cars" are totally different than the "regular" Chrysler's.
C was '57, D was '58, on and on. There was a man in Florida collecting all of the Chrysler letter cars, but I think he gave up and went on to collecting something else now. Like this '58 and the '57, the grills are different from the other Chrysler's. You can see the "D" in that medallion on the rear fender side. This one has that big 392 Hemi with 2 four barrel carbs on it. Kinda like Lincoln Continental, and Cadillac Eldorado. Both competition for '58.
I think the car is beautiful. Thanks so much for the picture puzzle.

Hi Pat, not sure what the D represents. Jim

That'd be a "D". 1958 Chrysler 300 D.
