Magda, I'm so glad you're alive and well, and with a new mouse, no less! LOL :-)))))))))))))

oldiepumpkin

Thank you Wendy, today it is sunny after at least a week of rain. I am fine, but was worried to get moss on my skin, because of the damp. LOL !!!
My mouse also has died, so I bought a new one yesterday. Now I can play gain.
Thank you for all the info.

zzzz1

Oh, geeeeeeeeeez, Magda,

I hope you're ok.

Magda, from a link about Canada:
"Summer—June to August/September

Temperatures can reach 30 degrees Celsius or higher during summer as the weather becomes hot and dry. Some areas, especially near the Great Lakes in Ontario, experience humid air and thunderstorms. Most regions experience mosquitoes in late spring or early summer. In many areas, especially rural ones, black fly season begins during same period and lasts a few weeks. Make sure you arrive with clothing for warm weather. But also have a coat or sweater on hand for cooler days."

So yes, it's hot.

I think it's cold a lot because the icebergs and such are melting from the higher heat, making the air colder.

I'll have to look up what's happening in Pakistan now. I think you're right about the weather Gods being out of control.

oldiepumpkin

Nice puzzle, on another rainy, cold day. Is this summer in Canada? I remember some years ago it was real hot. Maybe it is the much talked about "warming of our planet", that makes it so cold, or how???----, I am getting dizzy with trying to understand.
On another note: in Pakistan people are dying from a heatwave. The weather Gods seem to have run out of control.

puzzlejan

Just fine Wendy, looking foward to it,
PJ

PJ, it's freezing cold here too! At least there's no rain. I'll get to work on a warm, but not too warm, down quilt. We'll have to share it though.

puzzlejan

OK, other people are having too much sun and heat... maybe something light we all could enjoy??
PJ

puzzlejan

So happy to give you a cheery start Wendy - and BTW, it is freezing cold - and could you make a warm down quilt ? Please....
PJ

What a lovely comment to start my day, PJ. Thank you ever so much. :-))))))))))))))

puzzlejan

Great Wendy, your artistic abilities are vibrantly alive :-))) Real fun solve - and such neat color / pattern combinations. My fave is the lovely green one in the top right corner,
PJ

Thank you very much, Ann! :-))))))))))))))

And I thank you too, Eva! :-))))))))))))))) ❤️❤️

Kossamu

Thank You Wendy! A very fun solve and delightful pattern..❤️❤️

Very charming, Wendy!

Dammit, I better correct something. I'm not devious at all. But I know some people who are incredibly devious, and most people would never know.

zzzz1

oopsie, I guess I need even more coffee-

Correction: "I'm glad that you AND Barb both think................."

zzzz1

Oh, geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez. When I first suggested to Barb that she 'remove' your couch, I hadn't finished my second cup of coffee. So I wasn't sure whether you solved on your 'couch' (which I now see is your chair) and because I wasn't awake yet, I didn't want to go back and check. Too many of my brain cells would be involved, and tire me out even more. Well, I finally now went back to check- and see that I was way wrong. You said, "I hate being tied at the top Wendy. I'd just as soon stay where I am, in my comfy chair."

So it's a chair that Barb would have to replace, not a couch, and it wouldn't do her any good anyway. You relax on your chair.

Barb will have to steal whatever you use to solve your puzzles. And that's my final offer. hehehe

I'm glad that you are Barb both think the same about me. It wouldn't be right if you thought I was good. I will continue to be naughty. It's fun. :-)))))))))))))))))))))))))))

2dogs7cats

Just so you know Wendy I'm not on a comfy couch, that's why I sign off so early in the day, that way I can head over to it. I'm in my office chair at my desktop. I would never even make the board if I tried to solve on my ipad but I do agree that you are devious :-))))))))))

zzzz1

Well, Barb, it's about the only solution I can come up with. LOL! :-))))))))))))

tigress

Ooh, you are devious, Wendy (lol). :-)))

zzzz1

Barb, I think the reason Edie is so fast is because she is sitting on a comfy couch while she solves her puzzles. If you're smart, give her a gift and deliver it. The gift should be a very uncomfortable couch. You can take her comfy couch off her hands by telling her how hard it was for you to find the perfect couch for her (the uncomfortable one). Because she won't want to hurt your feelings, she'll accept it (make sure that it is more attractive than her comfy one), and you can drive off with hers.

That two minute difference will hopefully disappear with your comfy couch. LOL

tigress

Well I could have almost predicted my time by checking, Edie's. Yep, 2 whole minutes slower than she was. Still, it's always fun to solve your masterpieces, Wendy. I really like this, so nice and bright on a dreary day. Thank you. :-)

zzzz1

I just looked at the other one to see the difference. This one is definitely brighter and I do like the two toned petals more. I'm not sure which I like better though.

It's been pouring rain here too and rather chilly, but as long as the trees, flowers, and grass are getting what they need, I'm happy. But if it goes into tomorrow, I'm going to complain. LOL

You're welcome as always. :-)))))))))))

2dogs7cats

You did say you'd make another one of these patchwork flowers Wendy and I think this one is even better than the first. . It's brighter for sure and I like the two-patterned leaves. The randomness of the design makes for an interesting and fun solve. Talk about good timing too, I had just come in from my afternoon rounds. It's been raining since this morning so I had no choice but to head out and get wet. This was a welcome surprise. Thanks as always :-)))))))))
