Yes Rebecca, it's outrageous isn't it? I've been know to give real mice "flying high" lessons all around our garden, but usually after hitting the trunk of the apple tree they were and stayed out of order.....:))

Let's hope so lurdo although the mouse won't like the game I'll play!!! ☺

I bet it knew I was inside Carrie, because when I'm outside I can smell there's been a mouse, but it doesn't show itself to me!!!☺

I wish Pammi, I would love to do an old fashioned mouse hunting. I do recall mum always kept the garden door shut if I had a mouse. That was after I had taken a mouse inside twice! One was 'out of order' in the loft then mum asked dad to clear it away...☺☺...the other one was never found it must have found a gab somewhere to get away because we did never smell a dead mouse in the house!☺♥☺

You could be right about that Lynetteoz....Misty, Tammy and Luna are realy good predators. :-)

Thank you nillie, I wish I could also let you listen to the sound he made when he saw the mouse! ☺☺☺
I look forward to your post!....

P.S. For those who have never seen Goofie in action after he caught a mouse here's a link to my YouTube video of March 2013!

Thanks for a great picture Impie! Goofie's face expression in it's (very clear!) reflection entirely support the headlines...☺☺☺
p.s. Hi Impie, During the day I will scan and post for you from "Poetry for cats" by Henry Beard. I am sure it will be of interest and enjoyment...

Lynetteoz

Maybe one of your cat enemies will get it for you Goofie :-)

Pammi

En garde, Goofie. I can see you are straining at the bit to be out there but those true live mousies are a little bit faster than your Mr Mousie garden friend. Hopefully you can settle down for a nap now that he has gone. It was fun though, wasn't it???? ♥♥♥

cbmuller

How dare that little pest to visit your garden! It's a good thing he got out of there before you got outside!

Probably next time, that you are outside he comes and you can play with him-

RebeccaB

The nerve! I'm sure you'll teach him some respect the next time you're out. Maybe Mr. Beaver can teach him how to FLY over your garden!

Impie

I sure would be Mrs. soo, but the excitement of actually 'play' with it (I wish)....I had some escaped on me (my own fault, I'm too easily distracted) but I do have caught a few.... and.... (hang my head in shame) they never could retell ! ☺♥☺

O wow Atustsa a LIZARD that would be interesting...I never got to see one and I'll probably never will either unless there would be a neighbour somewhere who keeps them and have one escaped.
My mum thought the sounds I made when I saw the mouse also very funny. Shame we only have 'silent' pictures on Jigidi because it's not to describe in words! :)

Oh yes nan!!! The tip of my tail was the only part moving, I didn't want the mouse to notice me! ☺

Thanks nan. Goofie was watching the birds feeding. I was taking pictures (through the window) of the birds on the feeder next door when we spotted the mouse!☺

nanlein

How exciting, Goofie! I see the tip of your magnificent tail is just starting to swish. Good "grab" shot Impie! nan

Atsutsa

Oh yes, Goofie, there are wonderful things to be seen on Cat TV. I watch all the birds big and small myself. If I were out there I'd have my pick between pigeons, robins and little twitter birds. Oh, and then there are the LIZARDS - little green ones run around right under my Cat TV screen...they are so much fun. Mom says she has fun watching me watch cat tv and listening to me chirp at the birds.

soo

I'm sure you would have loved to be outside Goofie but I bet Mr Mousie was glad you were inside ☺♥☺

Impie

More than 1 megabelle...it's a bird feeding paradise more like!!!!!☺☺

For the mouses' sake surely Faye, but I would love to play an old fashioned Cat & Mouse play again...it's been a very long time ago! ;)

gemstone

I hope it has enough sense to stay next door! ;)

megabelle2000

the garden next door may have a bird feeder, perhaps....
