Very nice Tex, I realy like it, thanks :-)))))
Dollydg, I'd give anything for Lilacs, just adore them, but they won't grow here. My mother always had them and they're so beautiful. RR, I know you must be getting sick of the gloomy weather, but you'll be glad it'll keep you out of a drought. We haven't had enough, but it's time for spring rains to start, so maybe they will. Thanks to you both for stopping in.
This is a lovely mix of colours tex. We are waiting - impatiently - for some dry Autumn weather here - we tallied up out rainfall for Jan & Feb & it came to 24" (600mm) which is 30% higher than average! And it's bucketing down now as I type - the gauge has another 2" so far today & it's meant to rain until mid next week!! I'd love some sunshine!!
Great picture Tex. We have some lilac bushes that are about that colour purple. BUT here in Canada we have a couple months to go yet. Too bad, eh?
Warbler, the spring flowering trees are just getting started here. Redbud and plums or pears are just beginning to bloom, with tulips already over and daffodils opened now. It'll be pretty only for a little while, so you're right. Thanks Roseheather, glad you both stopped by.
What a nice combo-what looks like pink and white azaleas with the forsythia. Enjoy it while you can, Tex.
This is pretty too. ; )
Thanks, GNT & CM. I think Forsythia looks great too, but only for about 15 minutes! It sure doesn't last long. I believe spring is really here now, but maybe not in the North.
Thanks for Spring tex!
I love Forsythia it always looks so great in the spring time....wish it was here but maybe another month noone kknows..thats how it goes in Michigan???? always a big wonder ifffffffff great set texas
Thanks, Carole, MR, Laurajane & Ank. Don't you just love Forsythia? I do. Neighbor, I got all my beds done up last week in a burst of spring fever. Bought Geraniums & Petunias and set them out and a few for hanging baskets for the back patio. Soon the Dogwoods will bloom and I can't wait. We already have some redbuds and whatever the white/pink ones are in bloom all over town. And MR, I'm with you, can't stand thinking about summer!
Beautiful Tex, I can wait that it stats here. Everything still looks so sad.
What a pretty, cheery grouping of spring bushes, tex!
Oh it's lovely, now I am beginning to look forward to spring, but then that OTHER season follows!!!!!Thanks TS
My quince has been blooming but I can't wait for everything to come alive. Thanks, neighbor, for a bit of springtime cheer. Have help coming next week to get beds cleaned up, grasses trimmed and such. Getting too old to do it all!
