I have a feeling there was something about this church on a program one Sunday, Hymns of Praise, and they were talking to artists about their faith and most if not all the hymns were sung here as well.
Hope you do. Be sure and take a look inside too at all the plaques to the famous actors. The entrance is at the other end of the building to the one shown.
No I wish! I have been to London though in 2000 when I came home for the first time since 1955, when my parents kidnapped me and my siblings and took us to Australia and then here to New Zealand.
The reference 'ah! I remember it well' was indicating that I remembered the scene in My Fair Lady. But next time, if I can amanage it perhaps we will venture to see this fine building.
Yes, I have been there....many times. I lived in London for 15 years.I take it you have ?
Ah! I remember it well:-) it looks so grand have you been there?
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. This is the "Actor's Church", and the spot where Eliza first meets Higgins in "Pygmalion" & "My Fair Lady".
Vveerry nice - thanks Jettco.
