Shouldn't that be 'Bette Davis eyes', Celestina? :-)But you're right... When you focus on the eyes, there's Minelli...
She has Liza Minnelli's eyes.
Time to go home, time to go home .... Andy is waving good bye, goooood bye ... (Watch with Mother - Andy Pandy)Good night world ... till tomorrow - roll credits and cue harmonica :)))Morning Neville ....
I do hope you told the waiter and got everything free.It doesn't happen every day that more than ten people on the EHoF gather
We did Major - made me think we were from a special, all-knowing, undercover organisation like the Avengers ... never understood the Avengers ... or The Prisoner :o)
Ariane turned up later so we noticed we were the only table with all members on the EHoF. How we laughed - :) ....or did we?
Surely you could not offer him cakes with crests on top.You have to be royal to eat those. Noblesse oblige, can't deny that.
I have little crests on my cakes at Regency Castle - and no - I didn't have a bite from his cake. He did offer me some though. Hmmm - must have forgotten my manners because I didn't offer him any of mine - I ate all the flowers, all the icing and all the cake all by myself.
We could do that indeed, Sissel :-)Little flowers? No crest? Bet you had a bite from his cake then, just for the taste.
Actually, I didn't have jam - I had little flowers made from icing - Major Don had jam !!!
We can make a jam over the Marmelates! :-))))
You have jam all over your mouth, Lady C :-))))
No Starlord, I didn't crumble at all. At Finishing School in Switzerland one is taught how to eat all manner of things without making a mess so there were no crumbs anywhere except where they should be - on one's plate :) Thank you Major Don - very nice afternoon tea :)))
A lady like Lady C surely won't crumble much, Major D. :-)@ Pk: smile of the day
bit harsh Starlord. I was so shocked to read your comment that i dropped a bit of pizza on my lap and will have to change again before I meet Lady C. So many outfits - so little time.
She can eat the cake in your car, Major D... All the crumbs on the seat and the floor.Let's face it, Major D is sooooo impatient that he gives way too many clues :))))
:o) yumm thanks :o)
thank you lady c - you can have a cake with your tea as well :)
oh MajorDon - I'm sorry - congratulations on being the first to know it was Merrilee and thank you for all the clues ... lol :o)
Hi Aggie - yes some excellent clues - lol :)))
She's 69 now, RJ... And it happens all the time. One remembers the song, but doesn't remember the face that goes with it :-)
Very pretty lady but I don't know her at all - know the song though!
The clues are there to be used, Squish :-)And they're the same for everyone
Couldn't have done it without the clues - as usual.
Oh you lucky guy. Afternoon tea with her Ladyship ;)There we are Squish, you got her... Merrilee Rush ....Another x behind your name and the statue will be enlarged by 2 inches :-)Well done. Here's some additional info:Merrilee Rush (born Merrilee Gunst, January 26, 1944, Seattle, Washington) is an American singer, best known for her recording of the song "Angel of the Morning", a Top 10 hit which earned her a Grammy nomination for female vocalist of the year in 1968.And now Merrilee will sing her greatest hit; Angel of the morning, especially for Squishhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbUNVm1k3nU
Angel of the Morning?
Is it Merrillee Rush?
I'm meeting Lady c for afternoon tea methinks, I'm paying. well 19 seconds need rewarding. don't try and beat it Starlord - can't make Belgium this week
Going away for the day again, are you
sorry guys I have to merrily go on my way - see you all tomorrow :)
It's not Squish... Better check all the comments as there are lots of clues in it :-)
Is it Susan Maughan? I haven't checked all the comments yet, so apologise if it's already there.
Nope, he's persona non grata :-)Just leave him in the drawer, where he belongs
no that was John Fred and his playboys - I bet LordElpus knows the answer but he won't be allowed on the Eternal Hall of Fame
It's all part of our strategy to distract them :-) Oh no, here's Them again :-(
Indeed it is... The Tremeloes in disguise, Like Judy :-)
silence is golden - is it the Tremaloes?
Hush Major D :-) Be silent, that's golden :-)
Last clue.... the first three comments contain an important word of her greatest hit
cos she looked like an angel Starlord
Aaah, come ooon.... Shocking Blue was tomorrow's puzzle :-)You're all clearvoyant.I'm pretty sure Major D is spot on (again). Wonder how he does it.We're closing in on her :-)
not Lulu, sandie Shaw, Veres, Daisy
err no - not quite a cigar but you have it in sight
as in Jennifer Rush
oh - I get it Major ...
sorry Lady C ....no
Why Major - does it seem like we are rushing - I always rush when Starlord posts DYR :o)
Daisy Lowe ?
Is everyone in a rush to get this?
Mariska Veres ?
It's not Sandie Shaw is it ?
No Lady C, still not Liza :-)I'm pretty sure this lady just has to be in Neville's famous book... She just has to be :-)
It's a very young Liza though hey mamamaja ?
Indeed, Major D, it's a girl... You gave away my first clue with that :-)Indeed she is, Lady C :-)But it's not Hely Wright :-(Evening Neville... I take your word for that statement :-))))It's not Lize Minelli, Mamamaja :-(Daily routine is coming up now, be back shortly
I was just typing Liza minelli
Good morning starlord, and all starlord fans. A beautiful woman, but I still think lady c is prettier than her.
Might she be Chely Wright ?
Morning / evening all....Don't start giving clues, Major D and Lady C :-)
Good morning Starlord, good morning starlord and DYR fans ? evening Neville ooo pretty lady ...
Morning everyone - oh look it's a girl :)
