You're right Mimi, this one is lovely.
I love this one too Ank!
Thanks girls, I'm glad you like it. Thanks Ardy.
That is interesting, Ank! Thanks!
And, thanks to Ardy, too!
WOW, more great floats, thanks.
Ank, I shouldn't be answering for Jan but just wanted to point out that what the lady is holding who is sitting on the back of the float is called a fan. Hand fans are used for decorative purposes as well as for cooling in hot places or during hot weather when you don;t have an electric one.
Glad you like it Jan and Pat. Jan I do not know, parasol or fan.
I like that word "fan". For me a fan is an electric thing that turns around, we call that fan (and originally that word comes from English). This pink thing we call a "waaier". And the funny part is, if I translate "fan" I find "waaier". So, one English word, 2 Dutch. I see we make distinction between electric and not electric.
So beautiful. Thanks, Ank.
Very nice one.
I can't tell if the pink part is a parasol or a fan, but it is lovely. Thanks so much, Ank!
I agree friends, a beauty. Thanks
