They were a handsome flock and I agree this one was probably the protector Floyd. At least that is what I believe he wanted us to think!

Gladstone

This one looks well-cared for and would probably protect the rest of the herd.

goingsilver

Thank you Pat.

Wonderful picture .. Thanks Lorna

No fence Beekay; the footpath went right through their field. The sheep just watched us from a distance and went about their business when they realised we weren't a threat. This was just a hard frost and judging by the way she kept rolling in the grass, I would say she won't have seen snow. I ALMOST hope we get some snow this winter just to see what she makes of it!

Beekay

Huge animal. I hope there was a sturdy fence between you and him...
Has Elsa experienced snow before?

goingsilver

It wasn't a very large flock and I don't think so Kathleen.

Toto

Beautiful creature, Lorna. Were there any multi-horns in the herd?

goingsilver

Lol Ank! I think he was the designated protector of the flock :) George and Elsa were not at all interested in the sheep. All Elsa wanted to do was roll in the frosty grass!

puzzeljac

Hum, that tall one must be a woman, nothing to fear of. But that other two, they are no sheep, a bit tall for dogs. I wonder what they will be. ☺☺☺ I keep an eye on them. ☺
